On the ground floor of the Mas de La Bartavelle, there is a grove of pine trees surrounding the terrace of the bedroom where Laurence and I slept. A glass door separated this bedroom from the living room, in which the conifers were reflected, and, below and to the right of the door, the large living room with its vaulted ceilings.
