la Fontaine de mon Enfance
from 0 €
In the heart of Place Saint-Sulpice, at the bottom of Rue Férou, where our family has lived for over a century and where my brother Bernard continues this beautiful family history, stands a 12-meter-high hexagonal fountain, designed and built by Visconti between 1843 and 1847. I have passed by it thousands of times, especially during our time at the local primary school on Rue Madame, before crossing the Luxembourg Gardens to reach the Lycée Montaigne, and then walking down to it every day during my university studies on my way to the École des Beaux-Arts and Sciences Po. Dimensions: 28 cm x 37.6 cm (Frame: 40 cm x 50 cm) - Marseille - March 5, 2025
